About SwingMatch
SMS messages are sent by SwingMatch (SwingMatch Golf Inc.), a golf instruction platform that connects golfers with certified instructors.
What We Use SMS For
SwingMatch uses SMS for account access (one-time passcodes) and transactional notifications related to golf lessons. We do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS.
Message Types
You may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- One-time passcodes (OTP) for login
- Lesson booking confirmations
- Lesson reminders
- Schedule changes or cancellations
- Payment confirmations and receipts
- Account-related alerts
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on user activity.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out & Help
- To opt out: Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential SMS notifications.
- For help: Reply HELP for assistance.
Note: One-time passcodes for login cannot be opted out of, as they are required for account access.

How Consent is Collected
SwingMatch uses SMS-only sign-in for user authentication. Here's how consent is collected:
- Users provide their mobile phone number on the sign-in or sign-up screen.
- A disclosure appears directly below the phone number field explaining SMS usage, opt-out instructions (STOP/HELP), and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
- By entering their phone number and continuing, users consent to receive transactional SMS messages as described above.
Consent is collected at the point of sign-up/sign-in and covers all transactional SMS communications related to account access and lesson management.
